Terms of Services
Please read these Terms carefully before using our appointment and payment services.
1) Who we are
drravikantpatil.com provides information, appointment booking, and in-clinic and virtual (Google Meet) consultations for Dr. Ravikant Patil, Interventional Cardiologist, Dubai.
2) Acceptance
By using our website and services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3) Not emergency care
Our Services—including Google Meet consultations—are not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, severe breathlessness, or other urgent symptoms, call your local emergency number immediately (e.g., 998 in the UAE).
4) Eligibility & accurate information
You must be 18+ or legally authorized to book for a minor/another person. You confirm the information you provide is true and complete.
5) Appointments, payments, cancellations
Availability can change until confirmed. Some services require advance payment. Rescheduling/cancellation terms are shown during checkout and in your confirmation message; late cancellations or “no-shows” may be non-refundable.
6) Telehealth / Google Meet consultations
Purpose: follow-ups, second opinions, diet/lifestyle counseling, and coordination when you cannot visit the clinic.
Limitations: virtual care may be clinically limited (no exam/tests). The doctor may advise an in-person visit or further diagnostics.
Technology: you are responsible for a stable internet connection, a private environment, and correct device settings.
Location & licensing: by booking, you acknowledge we operate under UAE laws. If you are outside the UAE, services may be limited to general guidance or a second opinion and do not substitute local medical care.
Prescriptions & investigations: issuance may be restricted by regulation and clinical judgment; some items cannot be prescribed via telehealth.
No recording without consent: you agree not to record, screenshot, or distribute consultations without our prior written consent. We do not record sessions unless we obtain your explicit consent.
7) Use of Google services (Calendar & Meet)
With your permission, our system creates/updates calendar events and attaches a Google Meet link for your session. You can revoke access through your Google Account at any time.
8) Communications
You consent to receive appointment-related messages via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or phone. You may opt out of non-essential updates.
9) Privacy & data
We follow reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it’s used.
10) Intellectual property
All site content is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse it without permission.
11) Disclaimers & liability
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Services, technology failures, or telehealth limitations, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12) Changes
We may update these Terms. “Last updated” indicates the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
13) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to protect patients, systems, or to enforce these Terms.
14) Governing law
These Terms are governed by UAE law; venue is the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
